SIGNITSURE - MULTISPECTRAL ENCODED TAG

After years of effort to assist the U.S. Postal Service in its processing of mail, Pitney Bowes was able to invent and patent a black ink that when exposed to florescent light would emit a different color. After review by the Analytic Team to determine the best commercial use cases for the technology, the IP Factory incorporated its first company, SignitSure. Given the nature of the ink, commercial concepts around securing documents was the highest recommended area to pursue. The first product to be launched by SignitSure is the ScriptID system that performs prescription verification. Early stage money to finalize the Business Plan and market research has been applied for and it is expected that ScriptID systems will be in use in 2014.
